Women's Work: Arts at the Women's Building
Women's Work is a program of the Women's Building, Inc. Its mission is to promote and affirm the creative talents and technical abilities of women in the arts. The underlying goal is to encourage the growth, knowledge, and empowerment of women in all aspects of their lives by offering art workshops, exhibits, and cultural events.
Women's Work: Arts At The Women's Building
endeavors to display the diversity of the women's community in respect
to race, age, physical ability, and sexual orientation and works to
reflect this diversity in all levels of program participation.
Women in Art: the Sunday Series for Kids
Last Sunday of the month beginning May 30th through Sept 26th
Kids ages 8-13 are invited to participate in this art history and studio series about women artists including Frida Kahlo, Faith Ringgold, Louise Nevelson, Maria Martinez and more.

@rt is Where It's At: the Weekday Series for Kids
3 and 4 week courses for kids at various ages including Paint Like the Masters, Printmaker and Printmaking I, Art 101, Mixed Media Mania. All kids' classes are taught by a NYS certified art teacher.
